Expectations

728236 300x196 Bushnell Tour V2 Rangefinder Review Golfers expect to get unparalleled accuracy from a laser rangefinder.  Wanting distances as close as possible to the flag, Bushnell advertises that the Tour V2 will get you within 1 yd. of the flag.   Having a range of 5-1000 yards and 5-914 meters, nothing on the course is out of bounds.

Many  golfers say that the Bushnell takes away the doubt, and you get to realize your true distances and what club to choose.  Distances are instantaneous, split second all it takes to get your distance in either yards or meters.

Targeting Modes

The PinSeeker Technology that Bushnell is famous for, you can capture the distance to the flag without getting the distance to background objectsThis is a great feature especially when you have trees in the background.

Scan Mode, which gives you the ability to get distances while you are panning the course.

In this mode, you will get constant readings as you scan giving you the information you need to make your shot.  I really like this feature as you can move around from the pin to the bunker, front and back of the green anywhere you need to go.

Optics

The Tour V2 has multi-coated optics to give the viewer excellent clarity and brightness.  The in-view LCD makes it very easy to read your distances. A nice feature to have the sun can play havoc on taking readings.

Rain Guard Technology

This rain guard is patent by Bushnell, a coating on the lens that causes moisture to15612138 195x300 Bushnell Tour V2 Rangefinder Review instantly bead into smaller droplets then scatter.  Untreated lens would be useless in damp conditions making the Tour V2 rangefinder useful where others would not be.

Slope Mode

Bushnell has made two models of this popular rangefinder.  One model that is legal for tournament use and one that is not. Rangefinders with slope mode are not sanctioned for tournament play.

The slope mode will compensate the uphill or downhill yardage for your shot automatically.  Giving you the true distance to the flag to better place the ball where you want it not too short or too long.

Dislikes

It seemed like the biggest complaint about this Bushnell was the battery life, it does not last long enough, and you always need to bring a spare.

There is only one reticle no way to change to suit your personal preference.   Difficult to understand complicated, not very common but some golfers have had trouble with the operating instructions.

In Conclusion

Well the Bushnell Tour V2 Laser Rangefinder has great reviews from real golfers just like you everywhere I have been and asked.  One of the sales associate that I talked to summed it up like this “I’ve hit more shots at more pins when I put my Bushnell to use.  It takes the guess work out of the mix up and lets you concentrate on your shot”.

I have used this Golf Laser Rangefinder and found it to be a superb tool for anyone golfing.  It felt great in your hands and just having one gives you more confidence in your playing.  I totally recommend this great tool to improve your golf game
